Dear partners,

Latino Resource Institute of Illinois (LRII) has been in the neighborhood for over 40 years serving the community through the different funded programs. Our very dedicated LRII Staff have been working tirelessly to keep families together through the Family Advocacy Program (FAC), connecting people to the services and benefits available in Illinois through the Illinois Welcoming Center (IWC), and helping stop the spread of Covid-19 through our Community Response Workers (CRW).

​The support received from all of you plays an integral role in the ability of LRII to continually serve economically disadvantaged families and children in the pursuit of self-sufficiency. Navigating or accessing services for our community members can be difficult, so being here for them and serving as a bridge becomes somewhat a relief for them. We couldn’t do our jobs without each and every one of your support, and truly appreciate your on-going contributions and grant funding.

Through our partnership with The Chicago Furniture Bank, we have helped turn many houses into homes for our clients in need. We believe, as Chicago Furniture Bank’s mission confirms, everyone should be able to sleep in a bed, share a family meal at a kitchen table, and enjoy the comfort of a furnished home.
When we help someone move into permanent housing, Chicago Furniture Bank assists by providing furnishings to help with the transition into a new life chapter for our clients. Your gently used furniture will be repurposed into those furnishings and your donation will help break the cycle of furniture poverty in our community.
